The Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life. It is a great celebration that involves the communicant, the family, and the participation of the entire church. First Communion is traditionally celebrated in the Spring/Summer of the year.
This year, we will celebrate First Holy Communion on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the 11:00 AM Mass for children who are in the second grade, are at least seven years old, who have been baptized, and who regularly attend Mass. Also, children should be able to understand and be able to receive the Body of Christ with faith and devotion.
Should you wish to have your child make his/her First Holy Communion at this time, the first meeting is scheduled on Sunday, June 2, at 10:00 AM in Father Rivers Hall. Prior to attending this meeting, please see Mary Roberson, our business manager, or call the parish office to register. (513) 381-4526.
