History of St. Joseph Catholic School

In March of 1846, land was purchased at Linn and Laurel Streets. St. Joseph Catholic Church was the first to be established, and St. Joseph Catholic School began a year later, combining the two. St. Joseph Catholic School, a member of CISE (Catholic Inner-City Education Fund), an affiliate of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, assists in sustaining the support of our school. With the help of many pastors and educators, the school has since then continued to develop and achieve in our mission in Christ.
