We are honored to accept mass intentions at St. Joseph Catholic Church. You may request an intention for a loved one, living or dead, or to commemorate an important occasion. As has been the church’s custom for many years, a donation is offered along with the Mass intention request. At St. Joseph, the typical donation is $5.
To request a Mass, please call or stop by the parish office, or you may complete an envelope with your request and drop it in the collection basket. Envelopes are available on the ushers’ tables in the church. The envelopes should be completed with the name of the person making the request (include telephone number), the date of the Mass intention if there is one, and the name of the person for whom the Mass will be said and the occasion (e.g., death, anniversary, special intention, in thanksgiving, etc.)
You may also request a mass intention by completing the form below and submitting it to the parish office.
A specific Mass time and date can be requested, but if that date is taken, the Mass will be assigned to an alternate date. Masses are usually booked at least several months in advance, so if you have a specific date on which you want the Mass, it is very important that you contact the parish office or turn in well ahead of time.
Having a Mass said for a particular intention is a lovely way to honor loved one, friend, or for a special occasion.
